EV Chargers

Professional electric vehicle charging station installation for your home or business. Code-compliant setup with proper circuit sizing and permit handling.

Home EV Charging Installation

Charging your electric vehicle at home is faster and more convenient than relying on public stations. We install Level 2 charging stations that deliver a full charge overnight, so you start every day ready to drive.

Every installation begins with a load calculation. Your electrical panel must have adequate capacity, and the circuit must be sized correctly for the charger model you choose. We handle the permit application, run the wiring to code, mount the unit, and coordinate the final inspection.

What We Install

We work with all major EV charger brands, including Tesla Wall Connector, ChargePoint Home Flex, JuiceBox, and Grizzl-E. Most residential installations use a 40- or 48-amp circuit on a dedicated 240-volt line.

If your panel is at capacity, we'll discuss options: a panel upgrade, a load-management device, or a smart charger that throttles power during peak usage. The goal is a safe, reliable charging solution that fits your electrical system.

Commercial & Multi-Unit Installations

We also install charging stations for businesses, apartment complexes, and fleet operators. Commercial jobs often require multiple stations, conduit runs across parking areas, and coordination with utility companies for service upgrades.

Permits and Inspections

EV charger installations require an electrical permit in New Jersey. We pull the permit, schedule the inspection, and make sure everything passes the first time. You'll receive documentation for your records and any available rebates or tax credits.

Common questions
Do I need to upgrade my electrical panel to install an EV charger?+

Not always. We perform a load calculation to determine if your current panel has enough capacity. Many homes can accommodate a Level 2 charger without an upgrade, but older panels or homes with high electrical demand may need additional capacity or a load-management solution.

How long does installation take?+

Most residential installations take four to six hours, depending on the distance from your panel to the charger location. If we need to upgrade your panel or run conduit across a long distance, the job may take a full day or require a second visit after inspection.

Can I install the charger myself?+

No. EV charger installation requires a licensed electrician and an electrical permit in New Jersey. DIY installations void your charger warranty, violate code, and create serious fire and shock hazards. We make sure it's done safely and legally.
